We are proud to announce that our composite resins development team has received a Silver Award for Invention in Composite Resins at the National Circular Economy Invention Awards 2025 in Slovenia.
The award recognises an innovative solution integrating recycled PET (rPET) into the synthesis of unsaturated polyester resins for high‑performance composite applications. By applying chemical recycling through catalytic glycolysis, post‑consumer PET is converted into functional molecular fractions, enabling the replacement of a significant share of fossil‑based raw materials traditionally used in resin production.
Extensive laboratory testing has confirmed that the newly developed resin delivers performance and processing characteristics comparable to conventional composite resins, while simultaneously reducing dependence on petrochemical resources. This demonstrates that sustainability and high technical performance can go hand in hand.
This recognition highlights the strong expertise of our R&D team and reinforces our ongoing commitment to sustainable innovation. Our work supports the transition towards a more circular economy, offering advanced resin solutions without compromising reliability or application performance.
