Our many years of experience in relation to quality and environment led to the decision in 1993 to have both aspects certified.

In 1994, an integrated management system (IMS) consisting of quality assurance, environmental protection and occupational safety was set up.

In 1995 the aspects of quality and environmental protection were certified. The ISO 9001 quality standard had been established already on the market. In the case of EMAS (Environmental Management and Audit Scheme), formerly also called eco-audit, we were the first company in the chemical industry in Europe, which had implemented this management system.

In 1998, environmental management according to ISO 14001 – Responsible Care (chemical industry) was integrated.

In 2001 we received the environmental award from Germany in the area of responsible care. During this time, data protection was also integrated into the integrated management system.

In 2005 we were also awarded the Ethics prize for our efforts in the areas of human resources, the environment and exemplary organization.

2008 The pre-registration for REACH is successfully completed
