ATCOAT is a certified company with a long tradition in synthetic resins production. With a lot of experience in the field of synthetic resins, expertise and creativity, we continuously create synthetic resin innovations for coatings. In doing so, we always keep an eye on the market, customer requirements as well as on future trends.

 

Our company was founded in 1864 by Conrad Wilhelm Schmidt as a paint and lacquer factory. At the beginning of 1999, the synthetic resins division was spun off to form a legally independent company, which has been operating under the name “ATCOAT GmbH” since 2009 to clearly distinguish it from the former paint business.

 

In 2023 ATCOAT joined forces with Helios Resins, specialists for reliable coating and composite resins. Together with Helios Resins we extend our competencies and bring many benefits to our customers:

• a broader product portfolio,
• increased R&D and innovation capabilities,
• higher production flexibility and
• superior customer service.

As an internationally operating company, we place great emphasis on direct and personal contact with our customers. Reliability and a trustworthy partnership are important to us.

Our company is located in a promising location with excellent infrastructure. The highway connection is optimal, and Germany’s largest (container) intermodal terminal is nearby.
